DeBarre is a skilled test taker who loves being the best at following rules. Naturally, this predilection would serve him well in court -- if he didn't live in the Ace Attorney universe, where pretty much anything goes as long as you are in the good favors of the judge. He learned this the hard way in his first case, in which he was paired against Lynx Pawsecutor.
