Quirk: Ghosting

User can turn approximately 90% body invisible or intangible (leaving a part of the body visible and vulnerable). Regular ability use turns the user invisible. The user can affect the environment around them and vice versa. For example, the user may touch, pick up, or knock over objects, but in turn can get hit, hurt, etc.

Holding their breath allows the user to turn most of their body both invisible and intangible, allowing them to pass through objects. Intangiblity only lasts as long as the user can hold their breath. Non-living/inorganic objects that make direct skin contact with the user (up to their carrying capacity) while activating ability turns invisible and intangible as well (e.g. most clothes).

The user must become fully visible again first in order to switch between the two modes, thus can't go from invisible to intangible immediately.

Background

A former street rat, Reiko initially used her abilities to protect and provide for herself. Stealing from vending machines, hiding away in old haunts, and squatting on abandoned apartment complexes became daily routine. At first, scaring people away was a necessity to ensure that nosy passersby and construction companies wouldn't tread on her turf; however, she grew genuinely fond of the activity over time. Presently she's a notorious prankster, and takes a strange pride in being whispered about as a grisly phantom by the locals.

Her habit of hiding and settling down in the shadiest places inevitably got her involved with unscrupulous people. Thrust into the workings of the underworld, Reiko would eavesdrop on sensitive conversations, acting as set of invisible eyes and ears to the highest bidder. Seeing her potential as a spy, a more influential criminal took it upon themselves to sponsor Reiko and send her to an academy to better hone her abilities. Reiko accepted the proposal, but has no real ambition to be a valuable member of the criminal underworld; she mostly sees attending school as a way to better herself in order to execute more elaborate pranks in the near future.

Miscellaneous

• Collects high school uniforms to sneak into schools and scare people. She really wants one from U.A (sneaking in there would be a dream come true!).
• Loves listening to interesting stories and juicy gossip, but she's good at keeping her lips tight (unless you're willing to pay).
• Doesn't like keeping people close in her life as her pranks eventually tend to get predictable. Or maybe it's because she's not used to it.
• Not a great fighter. She mostly relies on the element of surprise when pressured to throw down. Despite her proficiency in macabre pranks and capacity to handle grisly sights, she doesn't partake or particularity condone real life bloodshed.
