physical health: Blind. Due to birthday quads, another pregnancy will cause her pain during the whole gestation and will be very risky for the foal. If she has multiples again it may kill her and the foals.
traits: Rain is a very wise horse. Being blind has made her more receptive to other horse's emotions, making her able to tell a lot about them. She can sense the different heat waves that comes off of them during different periods of talk. She also loves sunrises and sunsets, even though she can't see them. But she can "feel" them. She loves the heat on her pelt, the new heat, that most never notice unless they are really in sync with nature like she is. Even blind, she can feel where water is by the different moisture change in the air, and can learn her way around new territory in only a few days. But, she is rather fearful. Having grown up in a dark world, she is afraid of going out into the light. Meaning she doesn't really know how to show herself to others without making herself look like a fool. She is always afraid of hurting someone by accident, or of someone hurting her. Rain is especially afraid of war, because, even though she is strong, she can't fight because she can't see where the other horses are coming from.

history Rain was born on Native American Reservation in a small herd of horses. Her father was a black and white overo, but her mother was white and bay tobiano. Both were Native American-tamed. When Rain was born, rain was pouring form the sky. The Native Americans got the Rain part of her name from this. The first part, Speaking, is because her mother was constantly talking to her, showing her the way. She knew her filly was blind. When the Native Americans found out, they were mad. Both her parents were top lines horses, so this was not good. They kicked her out of the camp, all on her own, at the age of four, when she could "fend" for herself. She planned on living a happy life in the wild.
At first, things were good. She stumbled upon a herd run by the stallion Zoran (Indi), where she was warmly welcomed despite her handicap, and also became friendly with another mare there - Refina (?). However, things did not go according to plan. There was the disaster that made everyone flee and during this time Speaking Rain got lost and was forced into slavery, where she gave birth to Monster II's (Bru) daughter, Rain's Beauty (Bru). Though she was kept apart from her daughter for most of her life, Rain still loved her. However, before the two ever had a chance to bond, she was taken away by another dark stud, Egzalt (Brenna), after he promised a foal to give to Razorblade Alliance in exchange for her, even mounting her right in front of Razor to ensure the belgian would know there would be a foal. Thread (WE2) She had a colt by the name of Scotty Vanity with Egzalt (Brenna). She helped the colt escape the moment he was weaned, knowing he would soon be given to Razor, and, soon after, escaped as well. Sadly, she lost contact with both of her children but luck did not leave her completely. A few years after loosing contact with Zoran (Indi), she ran into him out of the blue. She was malnourished and skinny and not nearly as in shape as she had been at their first meeting, but her personality was still the same.
