Toya Hammer'n'Heart

After running away from home, Toya found that a school for Magika (people with abilities, or "classes") was reopening. They enrolled and are now a part of Party C, one of the many groups of students at this school. The ultimate goal of the school is to make groups of Anomaly Hunters, groups of Magika that can quell beasts and weird occurrences.
They are a little awkward and naive, having not really grown up around other people. But they have been learning a lot with the help of their new friends and party members! They are party members with Seren Villareal, Camilla Medina, and Umbrakae Sherwood. They are poly, and dating a couple people, Neri being one of them.
Neri and Toya have a lot in common. Both socially awkward, both transform into dangerous animals when stressed. Both purple! (lol) Neri introduced anime to Toya, as well as catching them up on other Important Media, the classics if you will. (Mean Girls, Shrek, Disney movies, etc) Toya is also in a fwb turned one sided situationship with Umbra. It started as Umbra offering to teach Toya some things about bedroom activities, and despite Umbra’s firmness in “not doing feelings”, Toya Has fallen a bit. They try hard to not make it obvious to avoid scaring Umbra off. Toya cares about their partners and friends a lot, and wants them to be safe and happy.
Toya has a complicated relationship with their mother They ran away after learning that she’d been lying to them about their actual parents, and since coming to the college they’ve learned so many horrible things about her and what she’s done to other people. They know they should reconcile loving her AND not agreeing with her/wanting to save her. But they do. They still want her to be a good person, and be the good mother she could be to them. Up until last year, she was the only person they knew and talked to. They think that if she was just using them and didn’t actually love them, then their whole life was a lie. It’s messy.
They transform into a werewolf when they are amped up in combat or get too emotional. They are learning how to calm this ability so it doesn't happen when they are flustered, and don't want to hurt anyone.

Visual Notes/Style: They wear a lot of athleisure, as they train a lot. Otherwise, they like to wear overalls and funky patterns. Despite not having a very intimidating personality, they like to dress cutesy and colorful to make up for their imposing stature. They have a series of floral tattoos on their body, dedicated to important people in their life.(no need to get these exact but I just wanted to provide a written description) On their left bicep, they have a collage of flowers with flowers for their party members. A carnation for Seren, an orchid for Camilla, a pansy for Oda, and lavender for Umbra. They have a geranium on the back of their neck for their mother, a sunflower on the left side of their chest for Neri, a honeysuckle bundle on their right bicep for their teacher, Thaddeus, a poppy on their right hand for their adoptive brother Ace, and a water lily on their left ankle for Tegan, someone who helped them find the school and is a romantic partner. 

Hobbies/Interests: fitness, watching anime with Neri, playing musical instruments (ukulele, guitar, piano, clarinet especially) dodie is their favorite musician. They also recently picked up crochet and embroidery.
