his parents both died from tuberculosis in 1903. they couldnt pay rent after the tenement act of 1901, so they went homeless and wally grew up on his own after his parents' death
hes a bartender with viktor for the lackadaisy speakeasy at night and waiter for little daisy cafe during the day
sometimes he instinctively holds his tail up cause hes a cat when hes bartending and accidentally knocks bottles and glasses over (hes only broken a shot glass from this before because hes very agile and has a super quick reaction time)
he sees viktor as a sort-of father figure and is the only person hes ever come out as gay to (viktor doesnt give a shit)
viktor lets him stay at his place if hes having a bad day after work
he has to get his pants custom made so he can fit his tail through without ripping them
