JACK

his name is jack and he's kind of annoying. i mean, no duh, look at this guy... that STUPID face. kind of a lazy bum, too, but his royal genes still makes him a snob. slobby snob, hahaha. speaking of royal genes... 

he's a used-to-be prince of the shadow realm. spooky! he's a mixed baby. as in, his shadow dad piped a human lady and she died pooping out jack. which, also, kind of ruined Jack and his father's reputation and their kingdom. or, at least, jack's birth totally kick started it all... TL;DR, jack ruined everything by being born. does it haunt him? probably. 

his shadow, or maybe attached-at-the-hip twin brother, really wants to bring back the shadow kingdom but jack's kind of a wuss sparking that fire. but guilt goes a long way, and jack has a lot of it for being the straw that broke the kingdom's back, and leaves jack open to shadow jack's subtle jabbing that points in him the right way. shadow jack's right way. you get it.

he works at a post office as a janitor, which is like the lowest of the top. demons love mail and their post office is really important for some reason. jack doesn't like it but he doesn't hate it. it gives him time to fuck around and lie to himself that he's actually working up to getting secret demon data-letters or something.
