Named for NASA's Dragonfly mission/rotorcraft planned to go to Saturn's moon, Titan.

Aside from older sister Eridani, who's only in it for the thrills, Dragonfly is the only pup of the litter whose aspirations really do take him to the sky and beyond. For now, he's settled for setting his mind towards becoming a pilot. He truly does love this, the feeling of being so far from the ground where limits don't exist, but it's also just a taste of his true dream -- to go to space, to personally go to other planets, and to study them. Dragonfly's fascination is with the potential of life that may exist on other planets, not only whether or not it does exist there, but whether or not earth life could exist on those planets. He gets along fantastically with oldest sister Lumen, and often helps her study animals to help him get an idea of what adaptations might be required to live on another planet, or to get an idea of where to look for that life if it already exists there.
