Quantum seeks purpose.
They are a Fortisplasmic being, so its only natural for them to. Their half-and-half body represents the connection between physicality and concept. Those that are considered physical become concept, and those that are considered concept become physical. Both halves are equally as important, and the only way a Fortisplasmic could die is if those halves are split.
At least, that is the case for the lore. I, on the other hand, am an anxious being that has a history of dissociation. I also like sprite and lays barbecue chips. I wish I was a bicolor worm with a multitude of legs.
