Backstory-

Casey found him in wetland and pick him back to home, She asked DG to adopt him. DG approved the moment he saw the little tadpole. Casey and DG raised him like their own biological child.

When MD grows within a few weeks. He is getting more and more similar to DG day by day. That made DG love MD even more.
