octavius is an odd one. from their mannerisms, to the way they speak, to their never-ending stare—most chicoons are a bit spooked out by them, but they don't seem to mind, and even get a small kick out of it.
they have a strong fixation on collecting timepieces, preferably antiques but they don't mind any. from regular pocket watches, to those huge grandfather clocks, to even clocks they've made and tinkered with. stemming from their childhood, octavius was always fascinated with antiques, but clocks were their favorites to learn about. most of the timepieces they have now were actually from their younger years, and they treasure them dearly.
octavius greatly enjoys giving out facts about clocks! they have a ton of knowledge on antiques in general, but clocks are their specialty. they're happy to show off their collection to anyone who's interested. they'll randomly give out facts about clocks on their own, but be weary—if you ask them directly to tell you about them... the floodgates will open. you'll be a skeleton by the time they're finished.
