Profile
Grace is very loyal.. to one person only and that's actually not Captain. Grace has something against Captain but no one really knows what. He still has respect for him. He's extremely loyal to Sailor and would do anything to protect her. He would give his own life for her safety. He cares for the rest of the crew..kind of.. and would also protect them in battle. He's really only on board because Sailor requested for him to be since he's a very well known navigator and knows most of the land.
Grace was previously in Wolfen's crew(probably why he isn't a fan of Captain) but Grace left since Wolfen constantly bossed him around and had no respect for him whatsoever. He had no tolerance for her ignorance. Captain welcomed him with open arms but Grace ignored it until he met Sailor. Sailor welcomed him and he accepted. Grace has no romantic feelings for Sailor. What he has with her is just a very strong bond of trust.
When Captain welcomed the Cabin Boy, Case, Grace was not happy at all. Since Grace did have respect for Captain and knew he was a pretty good captain, he believed that Case didn't have the honor to be on Captain's ship. He didn't want Case to threaten any of the crew members roles on board so Grace constantly makes sure he's put in his place.
