Stanley had a decent childhood, he had decent parent, friends, and the neighborhood he lived in was really nice too. He had these two friends that made them insepereable. Their names were Marshall and Marceline, they lived very close to each other and always hung out. Marceline and Stanley were probably the closest, they started to date one another. They had a happy and healthy relationship, nothing could seperate the two, except... One year, Christmas time 2013, Stanley had asked if he could invite Marcy + Marshall over to hang out. The news broken to him, Marceline was found dead near her home, strangled with the colorful christmas lights. This absolutely broke Stanley, tore him to shreds. He went to Marshall for comfort, he couldn't stand the news.

Years passed, Marshall and Stanley ended up getting together; and it wasn't some bitchy way or anything, it was genuine. After the death of Marceline, Stanley had felt lonely and romantically touch starved... and Marshall had feelings for Stanley ever since he could remember. Stanley was still struggling with his ex lovers death, but he never gave up. Him and Marceline always had an interest in ghosts, the paranormal; so Stanley took his free time to study and learn different ghosts and such.

Stanley ended up finding a small paranormal invegstigator job, giving him an excuse to travel the world and help keep his mind off of things with Marshall... times to fill for the loss of good memories. One day, he was assigned a mission at a very familiar town, one left abandoned. It was their childhood town, the one where they always saw the brighter side of things. Stanley was given the job to investigate and set free this one lost soul in the school, but of course Stanley wanted to try and contact Marceline... and from there, things escalate quicky.
