Tyberius is an adult male babirusa.
One day, a javan leopard washed up on his island (over 1000km from its known territory), and in order to protect himself and the female herds he lay claim over, he slew the cat (probably only possible due to its weakened state).
Tyberius now wears the pelt as a trophy, and as a message to anyone else who would think to oppose him.
