❝ If I'm a bad person, you don't like me
Well, I guess I'll make my own way
It's a circle, a mean cycle
I can't excite you anymore
Where's your gavel? Your jury?
What's my offense this time?
You're not a judge, but if you're gonna judge me
Well, sentence me to another life ❞

notes ||
—> Usually in a foul mood.
—> Has a very very one sided rivalry with the new leader, Brindlestar. He happens to be two moons younger than Bitternpaw, adding insult to injury.
—> Partway into her apprenticeship, Bitternpaw learned of her half-clan heritage at the same moment the rest of her clan did. She wonders if this is why Lionstar neglected to give her a warrior ceremony (though it’s equally likely he simply overlooked all the young cats who weren’t his son).
—> Her mentor has done what they can to support her, knowing her frustration is justified, but she lashes out in her anger and their goodwill towards her is running thin.
—> Ey’s no longer friends with eir peers after the revelation that her father is an enemy of the clan. They’ve been judgemental and question her loyalty.
—> She doesn’t get along with most older cats for the same reasons, but she finds that younger apprentices and kits are more willing to look past her parentage.
—> As a younger apprentice, eir devotion to eir clan had never wavered. But now, as ey grows more and more disillusioned, ey’s not sure if eir future is in the clan ey grew up in. The only thing holding em to it is eir refusal to prove The Haters right
