Early Life (9-14)

---

CHARLOTTE had a loving family . Though , once , she was left alone with her brother , CHRISTOPHER , 14 at the time . He was drinking , even though underaged . CHRISTOPHER went up to CHARLOTTE , saying that he's going to k__l himself on that night . When he's dead and gone , she could get anything she wanted from his room , it's forever hers . CHARLOTTE didn't understand at the time , she was 9 . So , the attempt was successful . Ever since then , they had a lot of family problems . She would hide in her room , softly crying at the door as she listens to her parents fight over and over again .

At 14 , she met LIAM . At the time , he had recently moved in . They are classmates , it took a while for CHARLOTTE to realise she was inlove until a year later . They would hang out a lot . They met ELEANOR , 14 (a year younger than LIAM and CHARLOTTE) . ELEANOR loved to take photos . So , she would take photos without or with LIAM and CHARLOTTE knowing . They would always meet up at the park and have picnics and do thinks they loved to do .

Adolescence (15-16)

LIAM had heard there's a new person in town . They decided to go make friends with her , her name is AVERY . AVERY was 12 , youngest of the group . AVERY liked to sketch . She's usually quiet but does talk with them sometimes . Her expression was always a neutral expression , she barely smiles . When LIAM's dad and AVERY's mother had gotten married , they became step siblings . LIAM and AVERY got closer to each other , and AVERY got closer with the others as well . They made a treehouse at LIAM's house and would hangout there . They would play board games , though AVERY would prefer looking out at the window and sketch what she saw . CHARLOTTE would watch AVERY draw as ELEANOR and LIAM fight over the game . CHARLOTTE would also invite AVERY to bake so AVERY wouldn't have to witness the fight . They would always bake cookies or cupcakes , AVERY would get to try some while in the making .

However , the group finds out that AVERY was being abused by her mother , who drinks ever since her late husband (before LIAM's dad) divorced her . LIAM's dad would try to get AVERY to move in with them , but stopped by the mother . AVERY never told them about it and would always try to not let them go into their house unless the mother had finally left the house , which rarely happens . The group would always worry when AVERY was about to go back home , CHARLOTTE was aware AVERY doesn't eat when at home since there barely was any food , nor does her mother give her any . So she makes breakfast , lunch and dinner for her . The group takes care of AVERY without the mother knowing . LIAM's dad was about to report to the police , when during that day AVERY did not leave her house . Her mother wasn't at home at the time , so they went in to check on her . ELEANOR was there first , she opens the door , slowly . Calling AVERY's name . They didn't see her in the room until she looked up . AVERY was hanging . She took her own life . ELEANOR stares with fear in her eyes . Tears fell , a few minutes after , LIAM and CHARLOTTE came . They followed ELEANOR's gaze , as they stare at AVERY's corpse . They thought it was a joke at first , but it wasn't a dream . It was real . The group seperated ever since then .

Adulthood (18-19)

CHARLOTTE is 18 , her life was like before . Stuck at home listening to her parents fight . She had gotten an eating disorder (Anorexia Nervosa) since AVERY died . She finally was able to escape from the fight and go outside . It was more empty than it was those years ago . CHARLOTTE spots ELEANOR and says hi to her . ELEANOR pushes her away , ELEANOR had completely changed . ELEANOR would bully CHARLOTTE , it was how she waas going to cope . LIAM finally left his house . He didn't look so great . He looked like he had been crying for days . He became more quiet . When he saw CHARLOTTE , he hugged her . Softly crying , saying that he had missed her . CHARLOTTE was surprised but hugs him back , knowing he was going through a hard time , maybe even more harsh than hers . So , in order to make him smile , even for just a second , they did everything he liked . Singing , dancing , baking ...even if it hurts . After a few months , LIAM started to feel better . They even made plans to do together after university . CHARLOTTE on the other hand was still dealing with ELEANOR's bullying , which got harsher over time . Which stressed her more to go outside overtime , but she had no choice since she wanted to avoid listening to her family struggles . Being with LIAM was her only escape .

One day , it went too far . ELEANOR accidentally pushed CHARLOTTE into the ocean . ELEANOR freaked out when she remembered she couldn't swim . LIAM jumped in to save her , thankfully , she was still alive . ELEANOR stopped bullying her ever since then . CHARLOTTE started to not feel comfortable going outside due to the talks about ELEANOR pushing her into the water , which traumatised her . University stressed her out even more . To the point she couldn't handle it anymore .

LIAM knocks on her dorm door , however there isn't a response . When he realised her door was unlocked , he opens it . He hides a bouquet of flowers behind him , he slowlys opens the door widely . He drops the bouquet . CHARLOTTE was sitting on the floor , hands covered in blood , scissors stabbed onto her chest . Her eyes left opened , tears falling from them . He couldn't help but cry and hug her corpse . Next to her body , was writings on the wall . Counting days to take her own life away . She was getting ready for this day . LIAM was going to ask her to prom . Ever since then , LIAM would visit CHARLOTTE's grave , next to AVERY's . As they both enjoyed life on the other side happy and forever free .
