About
Halo is the protagonist of Diary of Nightfall and a key character in Diary of Dawn. Originally, she joined the war because she supported the cause her mother and god-mother had created, however, as her allies began to treat her in a more negative manner as the alliance grew tense, Halo's emotions slowly began to shift from something positive to something negative. As Nightfall comes to an end, Halo's role changes from a helpless commander to someone who will balance out the circumstances of the war.

- Halo's eyes are like a jewel. Although her eyes are island blue, they seem to reflect like a jewel.
- She has white markings under her eyes.
- In order to accomodate to Auriellian beauty standards, she wears pushup bras to make her chest look bigger.
- Her hair is naturally wavy, however she tends to straighten it.

Character
At heart, Halo is a kind-hearted person who wanted nothing more than to leave her home planet to explore the rest of Aurielle with her brother and get an education. Halo was brimming with curiosity and wanted to get an education in modern society while still retaining her knowledge she had gotten from her father when she lived in the Jaisa Ahsoka tribe. After talking to her father about it, he allowed her to go join her mother in modern society on Eiyria. After integrating into modern society, Halo discovered that she was not as outgoing as she anticipated to be. Because she had dark skin that didn't fit into the conventional Auriellian beauty standards, she was teased a lot. It wasn't long before Halo discovered she was quite distrustful of others.
Her experiences with her classmates in Eiyria and her role as a spy led to her personality in the current story. Upon first impression, many people find Halo to be stoic yet serene, a beautiful person with a sense of confidence. People would say that Halo has a strong sense of self and seems self-dependent, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Halo's experiences with the war and the hostility she faced from the people she wanted to support turned her into someone who was not friendly most new people who were around her rank. Although Halo has a strong sense of justice, she won't go out of her way to assist people with sticky situations [unless it's a critical situation] because she doesn't want people warming up to her. Halo would much rather play her role in peoples' lives behind the scenes and be unappreciated rather than hog all the glory for being the hero. Whenever she does help others, though, those individuals find themselves admiring Halo's intelligence and quick thinking. Halo is a very rational person and wants to carry out missions as efficiently as possible which makes her an outstanding person to intelligence in the war. In general, Halo has a persona of someone who's elegant, clever, and stoic, but little do people know that's a bit far from her true personality.
Although Halo seems very closed off from people, she isn't the things she puts herself up to be. When she isn't putting on a fascade for people she doesn't know well, Halo can be quite an endearing person. A lot of Halo's motivations are driven by her emotions, which many people wouldn't expect from her. Throughout the story, Halo eventually makes it clear to the protagonists that she doesn't want to fight. Just like the others, Halo is searching for revenge, a direction in life, and a lover. Although Halo would never admit it, she knows that she doesn't have it together. She tends to put up a guise that she's very certain of herself and her future, but she really isn't. Halo is still searching for happiness and only wants her revenge and for the war to end. She desperately wants to return to school and settle down so she can obtain her "true happiness". This side of her is more vulnerable and insecure than she likes to admit, so instead of letting people on about it, she just suppresses it so that people won't question her on it.

Familiars
Strength:
Halo is a Mythical Biotus Spirit, meaning she was born with features from a Mythical creature and has the ability to manipulate life magic. One thing Halo found she was skilled at was seperating her animal features into a familiar so she could easily fit in with society. Not many Biotus spirits were granted with this ability, so Halo was blessed considering she has to lug around large wings. She has been practicing this ability since she was a child and only continues to improve at it.
