Kai is a 24 year-old male that stands at 6'2.
When he was young, his parents were both murdered. Having been great and loving parents, Kai stayed with them until he was pried away from them. He was put through the fostering system, where he refused to accept anyone as his parents. Once old enough to understand better just what happened, he began to employ himself as a private detective to find why his parents were killed.
In high school, he had a difficult time finding his place socially. He ended up falling into a gang with the jock of the school, Everin, where he most often helped coordinate fights or sold drugs. After Luka left, it fell apart and he once more was at a bit of a loss with his life beyond his girlfriend, which he was unfortunately not kind to.
Things hit their lowest when Everin pulled him into more trouble - a prison break and attempted kidnapping and murder. In the end, Kai was shot and killed in the process, only to be brought back after 2 weeks in hell to rethink his life. He cleaned up and dedicated himself to his work as a private investigator once the legalities of being dead were cleared away, determined once more to find answers he'd failed to find in the past decade.
Design notes: Two piercings on his left eyebrow (artist right), both ear lobes pierced, and a tattoo on his arm (broken pocket watch set to 2:18, the date his parents died). Tends to wear very casual clothes, borderline jock-ish but not quite.
