Robot Types
These are the different types of robots that Desmond creates. Each one is unique, and has different abilities and roles.
| Robot Type | Roles and Features |
D.E.V. Unit (Destructive Elimination Valor) | A killing-machine that is designed just for the purpose of fighting and maiming the enemy. These robots are known to be very fast, and very strong fighters. D.E.V.'s are typically voice-activated, meaning that they are programmed to attack someone as soon as they hear a "key phrase" that was taught to them. D.E.V.'s are generally designed with a built-in weapon on them that engages as soon as they are thrown into battle. Weapons can be a variety of different things. (saws, blades, guns, flamethrowers, etc...) |
A.P. Unit (Artificial Partner) | A robot that is designed specifically designed to fulfil romantic needs, or take the place of a soulmate. They are typically very seductive and alluring by nature. It isn't uncommon for an A.P. unit to be built from an already existing person, making some of them cyborgs with a majority of their attributes being life-like. |
I.S. Unit (Impassive Security) | A robot that is designed specifically for the purpose of high security of their creator or shelter. They are programmed without any emotions, making them more stable as security guards. I.S. units are built very strong, and like D.E.V. units, they are typically built with a weapon that they can use during combat. I.S. units are known to walk around the building or person that they are supposed to defend in case of a sneak attack. |
Scout Unit | Scouts are built to go out and make sure the coast is clear for any accompanying D.E.V. units before they go into battle. they are trained to seek out enemies and potential hiding locations. They can also be trained to search for loot! |
H.K. Unit (House Keeper) | A robot that is programmed to complete random chores around the building that they reside in. They can cook, clean, and even assist their creator with simple tasks. H.K. units are not designed for fighting whatsoever. |
Decoy Unit | A decoy is self-explanatory. They are programmed to try and lure the enemy right into a trap, or into combat. Can also be used to distract the enemy so that the other bots can fight them. They are not built with their own weapons. |
Tank Unit | Tanks are bigger robots built to try and take most of the damage from the enemy, and they are also used to distract the enemy, making it easier for D.E.V. units or other bots to fight the enemy. Tanks are designed with their own weapons as well, but they typically rely on strength and brute force to fight their enemies. |
