He is a fallen angel, he resides on Earth mainly

marveling at what he had created some time ago

For he was the angel that created the clouds, the weather, maybe even the entire sky that humans see everyday

He takes a lot of pride in it.

Maybe too much

When he was an angel, he wore a blindfold to shield his eyes from sin, he saw through the 3 "eyes of God" atop his head, like a crown

The eyes were his connection to God, but they were never really his eyes

The removal of that blindfold marked the day he fell

He just wanted to see what he had made with his own eyes.
