When most pups started their reading journey with school life fighting bullies or amazing adventures. Amaris started with detective stories. Because of picking up these books so young, she was exposed to violence and dark truths of the world. I lead to nightmares for a while when she was young. As she grew, she began to understand how real some of the problems can be. While the stories came with nightmares it also inspired her to become a detective. As she told her twin Zion about wanting to be a detective. He supported her future and even joined her.
The two joined forced and became detective consultants. Amaris tends to miss the key factors that lead to solving the case. But where she falls short Zion picks up the slack. Making key discoveries, and ultimately leading to the culprit. That said, she tends to monolouge to herself making ridiculous metaphors and similes. But it defintely adds to the investigation. Of course no investigation would be complete without a pair of matching fedoras. Which both Amaris and Zion have.

Ah yes, my partner in this dreary streets lined with a rain of dread. The case was as per usual at an end no where in sight like a single speck of dust under a old bookshelf. You know it's there, yet it feels unattainable. Thats when he shone a light brighter than the sun, in to the dark case. Zion, the partner that could never be replaced, my brother.
Ah yes, the father of all metal under the sun and moon. Day by day, all I hear downstairs is the rythmic clanking of metal on metal. Like the tocking of a father clock. With the echo of roaring flame as the meatal heats up once more. When it stops, it's meal time. Then it resumes. He has grace my life and my partners life for as long as we've known, thusly the city is safer because of him. The blood between us may not be the same color, but i'd say it's pretty close. There would be no one else I'd be proud of calling my father.
