Valefor

Valefor essentially acts as the spymaster for the circle of greed, cunning and dangerous in his work but putting on airs of being nothing but a thief and prankster to the other circles. Wanting to be underestimated is intentional, and more than once someone has been dragged before the king and queen of greed for a coup attempt without even realizing they were being investigated. He also strikes a strange balance of having personal rules he won't break, while not particularly caring about other outside standards. One example of personal standards is he will help and sponsor thieves with burglary, but the moment things turn to robbery or someone gets killed, he will leave that thief out in the cold.

His outfit looks almost ratty and unkempt, in the style of thieves from Victorian England complete with an oversized coat stuffed with pilfered riches. Both his eyes and teeth are like that of a cat, eyes with a slit pupil and bright yellow, and his teeth needle sharp. When disguised as a human he often takes the form of a homeless individual to gather information unseen, but he will also take the form of a richer individual for upper class crimes, subtly shifting his face each time so he cannot be tracked by the police.

Duke of Greed, Valefor: Also known as the "Duke of Thieves". He tempts humans to steal, but  values honor among thieves. Gives them the skills of sharp eyes,  reflexes, and sleight of hand. Considered very good and useful until he  no longer sees mutual gain or benefits for himself in a deal he's made,  at which point he will screw the other person over. If summoned he will  sometimes accompany a human if requested, but merely pretends to be  bound to them once allowed out of the circle; often uses this tactic for  them to keep the portal open unwittingly and allow lesser demons  through.
