Ocean Shimmer

Ocean Shimmer was born as a seapony, and it seems she carries the ocean with her wherever she goes.  She is the second daughter of Queen Novo, sister to Princess Skystar.  It seems prolonged exposure to the Pearl's magic affected her biology, giving her fins/feathers an effect that makes them look very similar to ocean waves, and giving her a shell "horn" that is sometimes capable of magic, similar to unicorns.  However, this magic is generally weak and hard for Ocean Shimmer to control, so she does not often use it for anything more complicated than picking objects up.

She is significantly quieter and more shy than her sister, but shares a similar affinity for shells; however, she prefers to weave them into her hair, instead of creating arts and crafts with them.  Doesn't like the title of "Princess", as she feels it has never quite fit her, and prefers everyone just call her by her name.

She is seldom seen without her pet crab, Clipper.

After the defeat of the Storm King, she decided to mainly stay a seapony, but she occasionally returns to Mount Aris to stretch her wings.  She never stays away from the water too long though; her heart feels as if the ocean is always calling out to her.
