Profile

(wip most of this is just from his ref)

FULL NAME: 猩红云 (Xīnghóng Yún, Translates to Scarlet Cloud), his mother used to call him 玫瑰 (Méiguī, translates to Rose)

SPECIES: Demon

GENDER: Non-binary (AFAB Transmasc, Prefers he/it but doesn't mind anything else)

AGE: ???

HEIGHT: 5'7"

VOICE CLAIM: Elijah Wood (as Wirt from OTGW)

OCCUPATION: A weatherman in Megapolis (As in he does both the weather segments on the news and helps control the weather at the weather station)

- Just known as "The Weatherman" like how the Mayor is just "The Mayor" in Megapolis (he hasn't used his real name in years)

- Rose motif (there's a rose pattern on his left pantleg, parallels his mother's camellia motif and the pattern on her hanfu's skirt and sleeve)

- His left horn is almost broken, it's barely held together by the bandages he wears (It was damaged a couple years ago when he accidentally got aggressive and people decided to fight back)

- Longer/fluffier hair, more red markings on his face, very noticeable eyebags, and red fingertips/claws without glamours. (his nails are just painted red and his eyebags are less obvious with glamours)

- accidentally killed his mom lol

- Scars everywhere because he's very clumsy and has really bad luck (and tends to get caught up with the wrong people)

- Afraid of Yānmù, which is the main reason he's disguised and in Megapolis. He acts pretty differently while on tv, confident and loud (think like. the mayor but less creepy and more just messy), but very polite and quiet in real life. He only really socializes with a friend, the News Reporter. (everyone else at the weather station can tell those two are queer though theyre bad at hiding it)

- Has occasional "blackouts", in which he's much more paranoid and jumpy, and will most likely hurt anything that moves (unless it's a significant person to him, then he'll be more like a protective dog since they're the only thing he recognizes). Yānmù takes advantage of this, using the Weatherman's vulnerable state and his own abilities (essentially hypnotization) to easily convince him to do anything he'd like. (This can actually override the 'protecting the one thing you recognize' instinct.) Most of the time, he'll just end up accidentally hurting or killing someone, whether he's directed by Yānmù or not. He won't remember these, but they can be cut short with enough comfort. (just kinda treat him like a scared animal, because that's what he is)
