Veil is a friendly, outgoing Dragot, who's main goal is to keep others safe and happy. He follows the rules of the planet, and causes no trouble around those he knows to respect; he is still young though, and when Veil gets his freedom, they show others that they know how to have fun, never backing down from a challange and always open to suggestions for new activities to try.

Religion

Describe your character's experience and/ or relationship with religion here. Are they part of a religion? If so, which one? If they are, how religious are they? Values

Veil is a kind-hearted creature, who want's the best for eveyone. Many think he is simply being respectful, when in reality it is just who he is. When times are hard, Veil will always put others before him, making sure they are looked after no matter what; he was raised to be a gentalman, and enjoys the way of thinking.

Beliefs

Although very little can be proven, due to events during his youth Veil has come to belive that what happens to someone is somehow deserved or earned. With his meeting with a god, his belif in many things became simply fact to him, knowing that a deity is in the end responcible for the reactions of the world.

• It took him an extra year to learn to fly due to him having smaller than normal wings.
• He is the oldest of six.
• He is the only known Dragot to speak with a god indipendatly, instead of being blessed by many at once.
• Moved out when he was 16 to get away from family.
• Fantastic cook, and creates his own recipies.

• The adventure continues: When all seems done, and Veil can finally rest, something else comes up and he has to continue on, no matter how strange or difficult.
• Disney Death: At times it seems like he has died, only for him to turn up a few days later almost (if not fully) unharmed.
• Kid Hero: His whole life Veil has been helping others, and keeping his tribe safe, at times being the only one who is able to stop whatever bad is happening.
• Simpleminded Wisdom: Sometimes Veil says something very wise, without relizing the weight of his words.

"Veil" as a name means watchman, parents of this planet belive the name they give their child will help guide them to a career in the future. Veil's parents hoped for him to become a guard of the tribe, as those who work to protect get the most respect from other members. Their last name - Turniquin - has no known history; not to those of current day. This last name has been passed down for longer than the tribe has existed, and has never once shown up in historical records, leading the family to belive it is simply just a way of identification.

Design Inspiration

Although I am not the creator of this design, several eliments stood out to me, and helped me create Veil's story. I am not sure entierly what his design is inspired by, or for what reason he was origionally created. When I saw him for sale, it reminded me of My Hero Acedamia (one of my favorite animes), and my friend said it reminded them of the anime Dragon Prince. The color schemes and design element are bright and colorful, but not painful to look at, making me think real-life was put in perspective of this character.

Story Inspiration

Veil's story comes from a combination of multiple roleplays I have done over the years. My best friend ToasterWafles has a character who can dimention jump, and I decided to get them a lover with a similar power. After a while of talking, and looking back at worlds her character had been too, I made the decision that it would make little sense to have him be in those places with her; thus the idea of Veil not having a power himself, but gift given to him allow him to hone his abilities was created. Once I had this base to work with, I world-built around the character.
