  DESCRIPTION   

The Ambassador is a medium-sized Slugcat. It has the ability to read the movements and expressions of nearby creatures, allowing it to gain a general understanding of how the creature is feeling, therefore being able to 'read' the thoughts of all nearby creatures. The thoughts can range anywhere from fear, to aggression, to the desire for an item or desire to get from one location to another. As this ability is ingrained into its mind, it can also use this ability to subconsciously notice invisible or hidden enemies thoughts, such as White Lizards, or Dropwigs. Along with this ability, it is also covered in a thick layer of fur, which is insulative in the cold, and heat-reducing in the warmth. This effect is diminished while wet, and its fur will weigh it down for several seconds if it goes through any wading-level water.

  PERSONALITY   

Itoh is outgoing, extroverted, and dedicated to a fault to his goals. However, he is easily distracted by sidequests, and extremely naive and trusting because of his body language reading abilities; in other words, he trusts his ability so much that he does not realize when he is being lied to. He is always ready to learn, but adamant about his personal truths and ideals. While he is not very intellectually smart, he is very street-smart, and is hard to corner in a fight due to his reflexes and general prowess in body reading in battle.

  HISTORY   

Itoh's young life is unknown, as he simply showed up at a Scavenger toll one day, and forcibly added himself to their society. After much rejection from the local Scavenger populous, he eventually became one of them, a trusted colleague. One day, he decided that he wanted every single Scavenger toll to be connected, and set out on a near infinite journey across the rainbound lands to do just that!
Every Toll has a different, separate reputation with Itoh; the more difficult the region is, the harder it is to gain reputation. When max reputation is reached, a new pipe opens up beneath the Toll connecting to a lost underground railway called the Steambound Hub. It functions as a sort of fast travel nexus area, making traveling around to different previously-explored regions much easier. With every toll he befriends, a Pearl is added to his spear, and he is granted new and diverse crafting recipes.
