Formed in the middle of the resource crisis, Zircon 9ZC was created in a small vein, relatively speaking atleast- only about four gems. One came out defective, the closest to him, and the other two came out perfectly acceptable. However, it seemed that Zircon 9ZC was blessed with more resources than the rest. At an early age Zircon 9ZC was a 'blessed lawyer', considered by many a prodigy of the entire kindergarten. Despite this it was slow rolling life, with 'promotions' never coming to his doorstep. A flyby of 10000 years, and Zircon 9ZC, now known by a nickname: 'Cyan', was going to find someone that would change the course of his life forever. .

Alizarin Crimson

Zircon 9ZAC, otherwise known as Alizarin, was first brought to the eye of Cyan in the trial of a Defective Peridot, who, by mistake of their defects-- seemingly forgot to repair a massive fuel leak in a ship! That ship later took off, exploded, and shattered an entire group of Militia Cast gems. It was a pretty easy trial for Cyan, this being one of his only proseuction trials in the past 10000 years. . . but the other Lawyer had caught his eye. This Zircon was likely the most HANDSOME Zircon that he had ever seen! Beautiful color, beautiful eyes, the style of his hair and the outfit he wore, oh it was all wonderful. Cupid had rammed its ugly head into Cyan's skull, and there was nothing stopping it. Conversations about old cases were the first things to come to the table, and both of them figured out that being on the defense was their favorite! Immediately that connection stuck like glue, and these conversations slowly went from work-related topics, to the topics of the day-to-day, to finally the topics that only lovers would ever discuss. It took a year or so, but finally Cyan decided it was time to take their love to the next stage. . . and they became (secretly) lovers!

Falling Down

Now lovers were never supposed to be lawyers, this was clear to quite almost everyone else- and yet these two continued to work as lawyers. Both of them had their senses of morals and justice, both took on cases that the other would deem 'odd' or 'lost-causes', and yet still they were able to be together. However behind the scenes of their relationship, Alizarin had been running into some legal trouble concerning a few of his more . . . extreme clientell. At first it seemed like a non-issue, until an investigation into 9ZAC's files and private conversations unveiled an entire conspiracy! That was when the troubles started, as soon as 9ZAC was arrested-- 9ZC knew, and rushing to his aid he tried to know what was going on! "Where are you taking him, what is going on?" The general cries and pleas of a man unknowing, and then finally when those questions were answered... he was appointed to be the plaintiff's Lawyer, prosecution duty. The Trial was short, the evidence that had been mounted against Zircon 9ZAC was insurmountable, a massive amount of logs, message recordings, and even forged documents made by Zircon 9ZAC were found. After 1 day, the trial was over and the defendant found guilty. The defense was able to lower his sentence down to 200000 years.

Aftermath

After a short depressive episode and countless Selenite visits, Cyan was able to return to the work of being a lawyer. However scarred he was from having to trial his own lover, his work ethic never seemed to falter. He was still an honest lawyer. . . until the same people that found his lover. . . found him. It was always nice to show off a rebel as an innocent gem, and now that more and more of them were finally coming. He gained a bit of popularity, becoming known as a lawyer that could get almost anyone out of a shattering. This popularity has died down, with his recent escapades being outside of lawyering. He still keeps an image of his lover upon a screen, permanently open.
