perpetually exhausted. tries to stay out of warrior drama, but advocates for peace as much as he can spare the energy to, for the sake of not having more wounds to heal. 

he's been a medicine cat for a very unhealthy clan for far too many leafbares and it's made him jaded and bitter. he does his best but the stress has definitely taken a toll on him.

when sneezepaw's entire family died, leaving only one orphaned kit behind, that he'd already been caring for for almost a moon, it seemed obvious he should take her in. she stayed with him in the medicine den until she was old enough to be officially apprenticed. her hopeful determination, despite her traumatic beginnings, warms his old jaded heart, when it's not driving him insane. he blames it on being young and naive and pretends to disapprove, but he secretly admires her strength
