Following an unforetold phenomena, many aether sensitive beasts had begun to mutate beyond recognition. Qorsol is one of his kind who was tainted by unseen aetherical influence, transforming from an unassuming horse-like dragon into a beast of the sea. King Ralu and his kind were the first to discover these now sea-faring Qilin, Qorsol being the individual that had first met and subsequently attacked him. Being the sympathetic soul he was, Ralu did not think to kill the beast once subdued, rather he was taken in for study due to his odd nature.
