Dixie (sona)

Name: Dixie peppermint stampede (goes by Dixie) 

Age: whatever age I am

Species: reindeer (based on a caribou x white tailed deer kinda design)

Pronouns/sexuality: she/her bi 

Dixie is basically a representation of one of my favorite childhood memories. My grandma/aunt would always take us before/little after Christmas to pigeon Forge (Tennessee) and we’d always go to the Dixie stampede (name has changed now). I really loved going as it got me away from my ab*ser for a week and I’d get to see horses and swim in the indoor pool that was at the hotel we stayed at. It was always fun and Christmas is also my favorite holiday. She is also a reindeer because the rankin/bass Rudolph was one of the many reasons I love art. Dixie is basically my comfort sona. She very much is me without all the trauma and what I felt like going on those trips

Things to note:

-I don’t care if you draw her more like a caribou or whatever. She’s meant to be what I think of when you say reindeer. Draw her however you see reindeer 

-I adore peppermint (literally eat it year round) so her horns might be made of it? I’m not sure 

-do NOT draw gore, nsfw or any “adult only” content of her. She’s very much my childhood innocence and I want to kept her that way

-peppermint anything! (But hates the twisted peppermint smell from bath and body works because it gives her a headache 9/10 times)

-Dolly Parton (that woman could murder me and I’d thank her)

-CHRISTMAS! Anything from decorating to ornaments to shoppin! Literally starts celebrating on October 31st (not a big fan of scary things so most of the day is spent putting up my two Christmas trees) 

- Cracker Barrel (was always a pit stop on way home) and comfort southern cooking
