Summary

Ceto grew up in a poor town an orphan. She wasn't alone, however - as a group of Dragonborn had taken her in as part of their clan. As Dragonborn in their city were immigrants, many of them found trouble securing a job - and then, what of rent? Before she knew it, her little clan had turned into a clandestine thieving guild to survive, and recruited many to their cause.

Of particular note was her best friend, Pan - a young tiefling, similarly orphaned. Unsurprisingly, the two hit it off, cheerfully becoming partners in crime.

Things changed when her captors came. She only remembered being surrounded before she fell asleep. By the time she had woken up, it was far too late - even if they had been woefully unprepared to deal with a Dragonborn's breath. She made them tell her everything. It didn't prepare her for the shock. Her, supposedly of noble lineage? And who was looking for her, to begin with? The questions rattled her mind.

One thing was clear - she couldn't go home. This time, she had to run.
