a seal-like coastal slugcat cousin that hunts deepsea prey, lizards and coastal birds
immune to centipede shocks, he preys on red centipedes and aquapedes, wearing their shells as armor against scavengers and otterpedes

an enemy of the scavs, who ofttime steals their pearls and goodies, raiding any treasuries that happen to be close to water, and dragging stragglers into the abyss. when they come to his turf, however, he demands they pay tolls, because he's cheeky like that
