Cecilia

Cecilia lives in a world in which mutants and superpowers exist, though they are rather rare. An issue in her past caused her to go mostly blind, she cannot see beyond distincting light and dark. Nevertheless, Cecilia is a fan of superpowers and keeps track of what's new in the world - in hopes of one day getting her eyes cured by a healing power (Spoiler: She will get to see again).

She met her boyfriend when a criminal ran wild in the city, as he got her out of harms way. Not being able to see, all she knew for quite a long time was that he is a mutant. Which she thinks is pretty cool. Upon learning that he was a centipede mutant that gets insulted and avoided by people, she took some time to think on it. The fact that he hadn't been quite honest to her gets to her more than the fact that he apparently looks weird. (People would say, yea well, you can't see, so you don't have a clue what you're dating there). Her parents were notably unhappy with her staying with a "centipede monster".

"You may be gross but I liked you before and I'll continue to like you now."
