i thought i was done making genshin characters, but i saw Lyney and really just went "ah sh!t, here we go again"

funny story he was supposed to be electro or hydro so i could differentiate in design but then i saw that lyney doesn't do well with reactions so uh

Personality: Leverette comes off in two very distinct ways, changing depending on the situation you find him in. Most of the time, he comes off as a mysterious yet charismatic figure, one who takes great pride in his ever-changing performances. This, to a large extent, is true. He truly enjoys using his skills as both a performer and musician to give the best street shows he could possibly provide. Performing is genuinely important to him, but not because of the crowd. Instead, it is simply to preserve the skills he has been given, so that they don't waste away. However, this very belief is the reason behind their sporadic use. Given any lack of obligation towards the audience, he performs whenever he wants rather than at planned intervals.

The second way one might find Leverette is cold and calculating. He does his best to prevent any of this from seeping into his performances, which is why it is easily the less common demeanor of the two. However, as soon as he retreats out of the spotlight, he drops the facade and returns to diligently watching every move made within Fontaine. Nothing escapes his watchful eye nor will he let it. During these moments, his only focus is on all that's around him. Due to his innate and practiced stealth, few realize they fall under his watchful gaze, and fewer still could perceive his presence. After all, even if on the off-chance he were to be found, the melodious voice of a performer would be quick to quell any doubts in your heart about ulterior motives he may have had.

With all of this said, who is the Leverette on the inside? The answer isn't quite so simple. Without a doubt, the motivation behind each and every one of his actions is to keep those he cherishes safe, lest he be forced to suffer another loss. His profession as a performer, too, remains important to him, as each and every skill used in it was taught to him by someone very dear. Leverette will do nearly everything in his power to gain information reagrding the happenings around him(though his own personal observational skills typically suffice), but not because he intends to do anything with this information. He simply wishes to have it, a desire fueled by unpleasant memories he'd rather not think about. After each of these desires, his personal amusement is next. For far be it from him to avoid taunts, teases, or acting upon random whims if he so felt that it would be fun. After all, there is a reason his performances are rarely planned in advance.

Notes:

-He has insane observational skills, to the point that he can figure out most magic tricks upon seeing them just once. It is incredibly difficult, if not downright impossible, to sneak up on or deceive him

-However, for some reason that he himself doesn't even know, whenever he's around Lyney, said magician is the only thing he can focus on. As a result, despite seeing Lyney and Lynette's magic show every time they perform, he isn't always sure what they did to pull it off

-He was taught the performance(mainly song, dance, and musical instruments) skills of several nations by a bard from Mondstadt, who also gave him the feather earring he wears

-Leverette is sometimes contacted by the authorities simply because of his observational skills. That is to say, they ask him if he's seen anything they need to know about. As a result, despite not being officially one of them, he is considered a trusted collaborator

-Leverette hasn't missed a single happening in Fontaine for years, so he knows just about all there is to know about what's going on in the nation. Whether or not he chooses to share that information is another issue entirely

-While it is typically difficult to predict where Leverette may be at any given time, he will without fail attend every performance of Lyney and Lynette's magic show

-Despite Leverette's reputation as a skilled performer, he can hide his presence entirely and vanish without a trace whenever he pleases, and can reappear just as suddenly

information may change/get more detailed when I inevitably find a problem with it

Design notes:

-The feather earring hangs lower than the card earring

-His gloves are the same on both hands

-His sleeves and stockings are different on each side

-He has a beauty mark under his left(our right) eye, but not the other one

-The thing hanging between the coattails is a belt positioned to look almost like a tail. It's just a belt and he has no actual control over how it moves

-He has a little side ponytail on the right(his right, our left) side of his head

-He has a low ponytail as well

-His stockings are two-colored, with the split just being a left-right split down the middle

-There are three different colors in his hair(the ponytails are both the same color, whereas the strand of hair down the middle of his face is not)

-He has heels on his boots(i didn't draw them well, they're supposed to be higher than that)

-Uses the short male model, aka he's the same height as Lyney
