Luca Negri

Vanya the Artisan found the dead body of Negri and later made a 'doll' out of what's left of him. Usually 'dolls' do not remember their past life, considering their multiple components preventing them from forming an unified collection of memories. Luca Negri is an exception, since he was not entirely an ordinary human being.

Negri was the result of a relationship between a psychophage and a mortal woman, something that's considered a taboo at the time. His father rejected his responsibility right from the beginning while his mother, under unbearable pressure, decided to abandon her son when he was 10. Disowned by spiritual community and feared by the living, Negri's early years were rough to say the least. His special abilities saved him from being preyed upon by animals, monsters or fellow humans trying to hunt him down but also prevented him from having supportive relationships, something he gradually lost faith in. 

Growing up facing all sorts of hardship turned Negri into a violent and distrustful creature. His psychophage bloodline helps preserving the memories almost perfectly which also caused his personality to persist long after his resurrection, followed by a lot of tension between him and his creator Vanya.
