this is my first baldur's game and i'm in love with my own character sorry HGKHGF

NOTES.

  • late twenties? maybe around... 6'2"/6'4"? maybe a little taller. (at least a few inches taller than gale lmao)
  • chaotic good? neutral? definitely follows his own moral compass / instincts.
  • half high elf, dhampir.
    • high elf mom, vampire father.
    • all elves born into his family always have marks that are reminiscent of fire
    • but because of the vampire blood, sinclair's fire markings turned black after he was born
      • doesn't have the same hunger as a vampire, rather his hunger manifested as his desire for battle / bloodshed. (he's not proud of it.) (also not quite like the dark urge but similar.)
      • does have vampire fangs and red eyes, however his left is now void of color due to a past injury but he was able to retain most of his sight due to his great grandmother's own curative abilities.
      • due to a hybrid of his elven and vampire blood, his lifespan will extend longer than the average half-elf lifespan.
    • usually never tells anyone he's a dhampir since he can pass off as a normal half elf.
      • was immediately clocked by astarion though. which is probably why they have such a rocky relationship.
      • made astarion keep his mouth shut about it because although astarion doesn't seem to be hated within the group, he doesn't know how well everyone would receive the news. even ayla doesn't even know.
  • was "disowned" by his elven family because of his dhampirism
    • loosely disowned because they kept tabs on him in a sense by making him live with his great-grandmother, who wanted to live her last cycle in the forest.
    • WAS LOVED BY HIS GREAT GRANDMOTHER. people often thought she was a hag just due to her old age, living in the depths of the forest and selling potions.
    • accompanied her often to Baldur's Gate for deliveries and errands.
  • unsure of why he was even a paladin of the ancients.
    • maybe it was to get some kind of approval from his elven family, as they were often paladins if not clerics, sorcerers, or druids.
    • but due do his own inner resentments, morally gray alignments; and desire to be ruled by instinct rather than sanctity, he broke his oath.
  • welcomed being an oathbreaker more than he thought he would.
  • more of an offense, damage dealer and not the best tactician.
    • often forgets about focusing on the party's defenses and forgets that companions like gale and astarion aren't as sturdy as karlach, lae'zel, and himself.
