local teen goes missing mysteriously, he lived with two roommates and has a big brother that lives not that far away. the day he went missing nothing strange or out the ordinary had happened, was the in the report his Roommate, Ted, said. Ned, his other roommate, also said that he first noticed him missing when the book he was reading had been left on the floor next to the teens' phone, his shoes and jacket were untouched by the doorway. Ned stating that Eddy wouldn't leave the house without them.

the Police had a suspicion that the roommates had been the ones to kidnap Eddy due to the evidence saying he hadn't left the house. the only reason they couldn't pin them for it was that the boy wasn't in the house when they had checked. they had gone through his phone records coming up empty. the text received that day lead to dead ends.

the day that Eddy had gone missing: he was curled up in the armchair reading a book, waiting for someone to get home. as he was just starting a new chapter near the end of the book he got a text from a friend, Sally, he hadn't spoken to her in a long time. so picking up his phone with one hand he read the text she had sent him. asking him to meet up with her at the local beach not too far from his place, so they could go get ice cream at the venters at the docks, in ten minutes. the message had been sent around half an hour ago and he didn't notice due to the book he was so engrossed in. so in his rush, he dropped his book, and phone. He didn't bother with shoes since he was going to the beach and it was fairly nice that day.
