Taimo

Taimo is a fairy/demon hybrid. He's lived alone for the majority of his life, starting in his late adolescence and carrying on through the centuries. He's extremely shy and awkward when around people, always worried about being perceived as a monster following the events of his childhood. There was a time when his family was considered nobility within a kingdom, but this kingdom was predominantly more typical humanoids...his parents kept glamours up on themselves and on him while he was young to maintain appearances, however when they were attacked one day, the glamour on Taimo fell and reactions were...poor. He and his family retreated to their manor outside of the city proper, and became something of an urban legend in the generations to come.

Taimo hides away in the family manor now, kept company by only the plants he cultivates through both magic and mundane means. He keeps up a ward about the property that prevents anyone that would want to immediately harm him from reaching his abode. His two favorite (and most intelligent) plants are named Bartholomew and Fern. They look normal enough, but if danger is present, they act to restrain the threat so that Taimo can then expel said threat and ideally avoid having to hurt anyone. He even finely crafted his humanoid guise to seem as nonthreatening as possible, taking on a form with a relatively small stature that seems as though a stiff breeze might knock him over. Even in his true form, Taimo's not the most confident, often carrying over his shy tendencies and body language. He secretly longs for company, but alas...he's not quite brave enough to leave home.

His humanoid disguise is 5'5" and his true form is 8'0".
