Often just referred to the beast of the void. It is a celestial beast that stalks the skies devouring stars and galaxies. Usually only stops near life filled planets, souls are more filling than energy or matter for it. Often takes the forms of non-sentient wildlife within the world it infests but cant mimic faces thankfully. It hates green light for some reason and can be warded off that way.
Edit: It has multiple forms! Unfortunately the concept of sentient depends on the observer. The main thing it keeps is the face is blurred and it has a mouth near an area that doesn't have one. How strange.
