HISTORY//
During the period between the rise of the common folk and the fall of the "Gods," many religous wars broke out. One particularly devestating war included the dispute over the territory and power of Orahan--the most potent Place of Power as of that time period. When Orahan was secured, the victorious side slaughtered the deafeated, obliterating an entire species and erasing the existance of the religion they raised arms for.
From this devistation and the power of the land, Memilos was born.
A symbol of those lost.

Born from such brutality, Memilos inherently distrustred all peoples from the start. He took lonely residence in Orahan, minding to himself and watching the world pass him by. He has purposely had very little interaction or contact with the peoples of the land, and is mostly only ever seen from a distance -- a hazy phantom haunting a quickly depleting Place of Power.
Through the passage of time, he has been exposed to much. He has seen the depletion of Orahan, the changes of rulers and ruling religions, wars, and the rise and fall of much and many. But he has also seen kindness, greatness, and that there is more to the world than the brutality that begot him. Thus, he has softened and warmed through the centuries. Still, he remains standoffish and prefers to keep his distance, forever just observing as it goes.

PERSONALITY//
Memilos is very standoffish and cold, keeping as much distance from others as possible. He has diffuclty sensing intent or trusting, so to him, everyone is a risk with the potential to be a killer.
If one were to interact with him one-on-one, he would come off inhospitable and disapproving, perhaps a bit mean. Because of his distrust, he looks down on most -- but it stems from the belief that most have ill intent and are unkind themselves; why would he spare kindness for someone embodied by cruelty?
But, at his core, all Memilos really wants is a quiet, peaceful life, filled with beauty and kindness. It is never his intent to treat others badly, merely a defense mechanism.

(Mostly for myself; plot notes)
currently Memilos just kinda resides in Orahan (a Place of Power, but it's very old and all the power is just about depletd -- it's more like stone ruins now, but used to be a really important place and shrine to a fallen "God")
He'll watch over ppl who visit it, and typically just observes -- very occassionally he will actally interact w/ visiters, but ye it's not that common.
At some point i'd /love/ to have Memilos and Kor'teclaire meet each other... I think they'd have a really sorta brotherly interaction -- Kor is such a little inquisitive puppy dog and Memilos is so, just, turned off by /everything/ FFFF
He straight-up wouldn't know how to handle Kor, and he might find him a bit annoying? But I also think he'd really adore him and want to protect/take him under his wing. BUt, that being said, he could learn a lot from Kor.
jUUuuuuuust, I don't have a plot for how they'd meet yet -- since they both act as lonely guardians to places of power. /sweats
Idk, I'm really torn on what I wanna do FFF
But eventually I think Memilos should leave Orahan, go on adventures and get some god damn interaction w/ people -- work on tho social skills.

-Please draw him WITH clothing unless I say otherwise.
-His shirt is the barest of shade bluer than his base tone, but looks nearly the same so don't worry about it too much FFF
-the white side of his ears/tail have the faintest of marking at the end, it's like a squiggle that turns into a swirl (you can see it if you look very closely)
-his rune markings need not be exact
