"Mina"

She turned a vampire after an unfortunate incident with a patient picked off the streets. He jumped on her to feed, but in the process made her drink some of his blood, turning her into a vampire. Mina was upset for what she had become, and even more when her mentor turned out to be a useless slacker with no dignity.

Despite her condition, she kept working as a nurse for years, since that was her passion and it allowed her to access blood donations. Still, she enjoys some fresher blood from time to time...
