Rune is one of Terra's best friends from childhood and supported him ever since. After finding out about Terra secretly meeting with Aqua, he started to question Terra's loyalty towards him and the herd.
He was quite upset about this and wandered a little too far from the herd's territory as he stumbled across a gorgeous deer he's never seen in the area before. The deer looked at him and gave him a judgemental look before turning around and sprinting away before Rune could say anything, but he was unable to say it anyways with how flustered he was.
