Just gonna write tidbits about him whenever I feel like, in no particular order
His whole clan was eradicated shortly before his invitation to the Winter Palace / mission to save Empress Celene. It didn't allow him much time to actually process the news considering how important and demanding the preparations were for the matter at hand. He's been very quiet about it and rather effective to play it off as if nothing ever happened, until an excursion in the Exalted Plains to resolve a few remaining breach and reanimated corpses issues. The nearby Dalish clan he had been exchanging with had mentioned the disapearance of a teen boy recently. While he hadn't found any trace of the young elf during his last visit of the Plains, his party stumbled on his corpse this time. Bringing his belongings to his sister had Thenassan finally breaking down, letting go of all the pent up sorrow he'd been holding on.
He feels extremely guilty for his clan's death, and it's still a very sensible subject to him. Now that he's aknowledged the issue, Cole is trying to help ease his pain a little. Iron Bull and Cassandra were the other two teammate present when this happened. He's grown closer to the seeker which he considers a friend, and both are now a little bit more comfortable showing some vulnerability to each other. Many nights around the campfire have been spent talking about the good an bad of the Inquisition, the rightfullness of their choices, or how it will impact the future. It feels good to talk these things out with her. Meanwhile, he's started to seek out moments alone with Bull less for sex and more for comfort. He still has a "relationship with benefits" with the Qunari, but sometimes he feels simply like laying against his chest and forgetting about the world while he strokes his hair.
