Fossil
About
Fossil is the daughter of Queen Rattlesnake and Scorchstrike, an older Nightwing/Sandwing hybrid. To cover up this act of treachery, Rattlesnake hid Fossil away with her father and banished him from the Sandwing kingdom, hoping to never see her again. When Scorchstrike went missing when Fossil was 5, she went back to the Sandwing kingdom in search of him. Rattlesnake found her and when she told her who her father was, she took her back to the stronghold and had her tongue carved out so she could tell no one who she was. She was also taught to be Rattlesnake's personal assassin and serve under her. During her training, Fossil was secretly taught sign language by an elderly deaf Sandwing who lived nearby.
Rattlesnake let it slip who Fossil was after she deemed her training was complete and declared her loyalty to the queen. She soon sent Fossil on her first task, which was a success. She didn't know what else to do other than comply, so Fossil continued to complete these tasks and became very efficient about it. One of these tasks was to kill a thief known as Carrion. When she met him, he evaded her and fought back another time. When Fossil went back to try again, she found herself in the middle of a meeting between a small group of Sandwings who were planning to overthrow the tyrant queen.
Shockingly, Carrion welcomed Fossil when she came back to join the meeting another time. He informed her of her mother's sins and after learning who she was and her role close to the queen, he practically begged for her to get involved in their rebellion. After lots of consideration, she agreed, and ended up killing her mother to seize power from her, becoming queen.

Combat
Fossil prefers to be quiet about her combat. She very often kills simply by walking by and quickly and quietly injecting them with her venom.
Venom
Fossil has a thorough knowledge of how her venom works and where it works best... basically how it will kill fastest. If her target should die later, she can make that happen. It is the same with the opposite.
Jewelry
All of the jewelry she owns were gifts from her father from the various markets where she grew up. She would never part with them.
Personality
Fossil has a very dry sense of humor and doesn't really know how to communicate or converse well with others due to her sheltered upbringing. She's also very hot-headed and has a short temper, making her difficult to have a civilized conversation with.
VIOLENT | SARCASTIC | INTELLIGENT
Beneath everything, she is very empathetic and has a deep appreciation for the world around her despite her temper and violent tendancies. She hates when her temper gets the better of her because it reminds her of her mother which infuriates and saddens her.

Trivia
- Fossil got the snake tattoos a year after her father passed before Rattlesnake got to her. After everything was revealed, she deeply regrets and aboars them. After she murdered Rattlesnake, she felt like she could love them again and make them symbols of herself and her reign.
- She never forgot about her father and after she ascended the throne, she put out a notice that she was looking for him. She deeply misses him and mourns him.
- She has a deep mistrust of almost everyone... except for the half sister that she met when she was taken by Rattlesnake. She immediately took the dragonet under her wing and they're very close.
