Nova is the child of Sonic the Hedgehog and Shadow the Hedgehog, and shares a lot of his DNA with his Black Doom heritage. He's very stoic and doesn't like to talk much, and has an amicable relationship with his parents. Due to having a ton of power due to his overwhelming Black Doom DNA, Nova needs four ring inhibitors, which he wears on his arm warmers. He can come across rather monotone, and though he's friendly most of the time, he has a hard time maintaining friendships with others.
