Species: Leafwing (with a very small amount of nightwing blood, a relative several generations back on his father's side  was a Leafwing / Nightwing hybrid.

Abilities: Animus Magic 

Active Enchantments

Enchanted Knife: A knife enchanted so that it never grows dull or breaks. Nightshade always carries it with him

Enchanted Earring: A silver earrings Enchanted to give the wearer superhearing. Nightshade wears the earring on his left ear. 

Extra Info

- Pretty much entirely black.

- A traveling loner 

- He's able to photosynthesize like most Leafwings and because he's mainly black he absorbs a LOT of sunlight. He sleeps an average of 2-3 hours a night and gets the rest of his energy from the sun.

- His eyes glow slightly in the dark.

- Enjoys naps or even just lounging in the sun. His favorite places to nap are the kingdom of sand and the rainwing's rainforest 

- His most commonly casted enchantment involves enchanting small objects to locate and lead him to certain dragons.

- He had a younger sister once. When she was born he enchanted a pearl bracelet to protect her from harm. The bracelet snapped during an attack on their village and his sister was killed. 

- Was kind terrified at the thought of trying to give enchanted objects to others after what happened to his sister

- Kept his status as an animus a secret from his parents and his tribe for as long as he could.

-Constantly butting heads with Fateseer when the two of them are together but he also trusts the nightwing a great deal. He eventually ending up gifting Fateseer an enchanted object, a metal arm cuff enchanted to never break and to give the wearer a boost in speed.
