PERSONALITY

Sumie has a small stature but big dreams. She is very optimistic and loyal to her owner, with hopes of inspiring him to write breathtaking music like he once did before. While she believes in the best of those she cares about, she is distrustful of outsiders and can be particularly territorial. She wears her heart on her sleeve and says what's on her mind, which can be brutally blunt. It's not that she doesn't realize it either; she just has moments of being petty and spiteful. Sumie also has tunnel-vision and can be so completely absorbed in obtaining her goals that she completely disregards other people.

HISTORY

Sumie was purchased by a young, childless couple. The husband was a composer and musician while the wife was a singer. Despite being an Oto-Chro, Sumie was treated as a human and even more so as their daughter. She lived a happy and carefree life with them, helping them create music and with chores around the house as a good daughter would. One day, the wife died in a fatal car accident, leaving the husband severly depressed. No longer able to create good music, he retired early, barely living day by day in a large, empty house as he tries to find meaning in composing again. Although deeply saddened by the wife's death, Sumie continues to work hard, hoping one day to find something that could inspire her owner to live his life again.
