Cadmus hadn't wanted to be a parent to more than one Pokemon, and with Denks already grown up and doing her own thing in the Tides, he had been satisfied caring about her and her alone. But when he found a mysterious egg one day, all by itself and freezing cold, the god had no choice but to bring it back with him to the settlement. He took it upon himself to care for the egg with Marshmallow, doing whatever he could to make sure it would hatch. And hatch it did, one day when Marshmallow and Cadmus were in the spiritualist tent, curled around the egg together. The sound of cracking and crunching was unmistakeable, and the two Pokemon watched the egg hatch with bated breath. Then, their round, transparent glass-like head poked out, and they let out a small yawn. The rest of the egg crumbled, and at the two Mons' feet lay a strange little creature- it looked almost like a Potten, but the majority of its body was shaped like a little dinosaur. It took both of them a moment to process the creature before them, but they brought it close to them and named their new child Artemis.

Artemis grew up and worked like any other Pokemon in the Tides. Her job ended up being a caretaker- tending to those who were bedridden or too old to travel far from their bed. Her bedside manner was good, and she did her best, but she also learned quite a bit from her older sister Denks and enjoyed sassing her parents when they tried to get her to do something she didn't want to do. While occasionally scolded, it was all in good fun and she loved her parents dearly.

One day, when Artemis and Cadmus were enjoying a day by the pond, Cadmus noticed something was on his daughter's mind. Asking her, she told him that it felt like something deep inside her was trapped and needed to come out, like a part of her she hadn't discovered yet and needed to come out. Cadmus knew the feeling well now that he was a full god, and he explained to her that she may have a second form to utilize whenever she needed to. Confused, Artemis went to ask, but before she could get a word out, she saw her dad glow and transform into something much more powerful looking. Artemis asked her if that was something she was capable of, and he said it might be. He taught her gently and slowly how to activate a power like that, and she closed her eyes and tried it. Some moments went by, and her body was also taken over by a slight glow, and she felt the glass of her body turn into something that was more of a mix of her glass-like skin and also some fluff. After a while, she looked at her dad and he explained o her that she had become a mix of a Beakitty- her evolution- an Eevee, and a Dragonair. While he wasn't entirely sure where it came from, he was proud of her and taught her how to use this form's power.

Artemis could be found now in either form around the Tides, using her Tropius for to take care of others, and using her Eevee form to help guard the settlement when the other guards needed an extra.
