Lady Ysilla

Dianxia

Basic Info

Name

Ysilla du Vour (ee-sill-ah do Vow-er)

Age

Never ask a lady her age! (She appears in her late 20s/early 30s, obviously she is absolutely nowhere near that age in actuality!)

Gender

Female (She/Her)

Personality

Charming, elegant, sweet. A very lovely woman with a heartful smile and a gentle voice, she is able to completely downplay her otherwise terrifying background as a vampire. Purposefully leading others into a false sense of security, Lady Ysilla uses her charm to talk her way into things rather than exerting physical efforts. A lady must be "delicate and dainty, with no blood staining her *own* hands," after all.

Sexuality

Bisexual

Species

Origin Vampire (One of the very few who were directly changed by a peculiar entity rather than being sired. Has abilities far beyond a normal vampire.)

Profile

The Lady Ysilla that is seen today can be regarded as a vivacious, charming, and loving social butterfly. And while all of this is true, one may be shocked to know that Lady Ysilla was once her own opposite, sans a few things. Lady Ysilla, once Ysilla de Clair, was a daughter born from an aristocratic family within Klaris town, reigned by the kingdom of Avenstol. As with many noble daughters of that time, she was raised to be quite complacent and docile, a very humble and quiet lamb for the slaughter. A naive girl with dreams of true love, unable to see the scrubbed away filth that surrounded her whenever she looked away.

[Bio is still a WIP, I'm still adding onto this slowly because I'm lazy LMAO]

Trivia:

  • She's fond of young children and has a habit of adopting them as her own should they not have their own mother.
  • She's actually quite mild mannered. Despite being an origin vampire, she does not seek wealth, infamy or glory. Though she has amassed wealth through her various lovers (voluntarily, mind you.) in the past, she enjoys living a life pampered and conflict-free. As such, she likes to assume the role of a “clueless and helpless” lady despite being anything but.
  • Despite her easy-going nature, she does have a few points that incite her bloodthirsty tendencies. The main thing being the welfare of a child. She has no room for tolerance for the mistreatment of a child whatsoever, and is quick to act if she happens upon it.
  • As an origin vampire, her need for blood is actually by far less than the average vampire. However, her lovers tend to enjoy “playing” with her in such a way that she always has a good share of blood. She is very careful not to drink past a certain threshold and doesn’t “drain” her lovers. She is also incredibly mindful of them and treat them with great care afterwards.
  • She may appear fickle with the amount of lovers she keeps, but she genuinely loves those who come to her arms and love her wholly as well. She does inform her lovers that, if they are not comfortable with sharing her love with others, they are not meant to be. However, those who can accept this will be loved fully by Lady Ysilla as well.
  • Contrary to what others may believe, because she is an origin vampire, she can in fact eat, drink, and sleep, it’s just that she doesn’t “need” to. It’s more for show/to pass time if anything. She does enjoy the taste of human food, though, even if it is not filling to her. It is noted, however, sired vampires appear to lose the ability to really do any of this.
  • Though she has many lovers, she is not repulsed by the idea of having a single one, though she is adverse to it. However, she has not felt that way about anyone for a very, very long time. This may, perhaps, change some day. Though, at this point in time, she doesn’t see it ever happening.
  • She gave herself her surname after her transformation, finding it quite funny.
  • Her "true form" is actually extremely different and incredibly monstrous. Her current appearance is retained from when she was human, albeit, her change in skin color, eyes and hair come from vampirism. In actuality, it can no longer be called her "true self." Her "true form" is a horrifying being with elongated, spindly limbs, a grin far too big for her face, completely reddened eyes and a bony, thin appearance that truly seems dead and unholy. She looks like a walking corpse except by far worse.
