Profile

Tao has a small few vague interest hints in his design. He's that 90's kid-era character who had an interest in stripes and neons as an "emo teen" as well as 90's toys and electronics enthusiast. He's also got some card deck symbolism in the form of diamonds on his clothes/body. Most of his interest shows in his bungalow and how he passionately speaks about toys and board games. He really loves Tamogachi's especially.

He is best friends with Lau, who has a similarly pronounced name to his own, they are rarely seen apart, as well.
Both of them spend Festival time together, sharing games with the local Cloakats to have fun with as they both set up stands to pass out paper activities or do board games with bystanders. None of the activities they do are rigged, so they are found as favored entertainers in the festivals. They also pass out small trinkets and toys to Cloakids who participate in their games, which makes them a Cloakid favorite because like- who doesn't like a free toy??

Both he and Lau collect bygone-era toys, especially those from the '70s-'90s area as they can more or less relate to this nostalgically. They use and play with these toys as well as tend to them to keep them in new shape as they are not collectors in the way that they "refuse to play with the toys they collect".

Lau's talking hood acts as a second speaker for him, having basically a hivemind with his base self to help better multitask.
