Harmony

This is my purpose.

When Serenity had come back from an outing with her wife from the other town, it was a spectacle for sure, as the Mythical Pokemon had come back to town holding an egg. Only a few days after this, Serenity would come by the garden where Hibiscus lived and worked with another Celebi- Harmony. A favor was asked of her- because Serenity worked at the clinic, she couldn't watch her baby too often, and asked Hibiscus if she would let them stay in her gardens and help out while bloom worked. Though initially reluctant, Hibiscus did notice how gentle Harmony was with the flowers, and grew to enjoy and apprecite the young 'Mon's company.

Harmony's life was filled with flowers from the moment she hatched. This was no surprise, as she was not only a Grass-type, but also the offspring of the protector of the forests, being then a protector of the forests herself. However, as she was still rather young, the Celebeevee couldn't leave Havenner Town often. Too dangerous, her Ma always told her, so she was entrusted to stay with her Auntie Hibi at the gardens. It was close enough, and Harmony being who she was, was spectacular at caring for the flowers there. Like she was made for it.

It was only supposed to be a momentary outing, but a pull drew her closer and closer to the Tides of the Moon settlement, where her mothers both met due to a mutual friend, who was the leader of this group. A part of her was deeply unsettled by the pull she was feeling, but she felt as though she had no choice but to flutter deeper into the settlement. Those who milled about looked at her or waved, and as politely as she could, she would wave back, but she was on a mmission and needed to find Cadmus. Needed to find the source of this pull.

In a small hut, she felt her soul grip her and pull her closer. The door was bigger than her, but looked a little unsteady, so she went to knock gently. However, it seemed as though whoever was inside either saw her or expected her, and the door swung open. Harmony found herself quickly face to face with the Vaporeon-Beakitty, though he had a hint of something else as evident by his strange, drill-like arms folded under his ruff. He introduced himself as Cadmus, and Harmony blurted out her need to come here due to a pull. Cadmus invited her in, and began to explain what the pull was.

In this world, when spirits of old, those that fully and deeply embodied what they were meant for, reincarnated or were reborn, they would feel a pull to others that were also reborn or reincarnated. Harmony listened intently to Cadmus, absorbing each an every word. So did that mean she was a spirit of something, truly reborn into another life to pick back up what was originally theirs? She had so many questions, but she started with how he knew this.

It turned out that Cadmus had a similar experience the moment that she was hatched, when he was first introduced to her many moons ago as an egg. It was faint, but he was curious as to the source, and in doing so discovered these facts. While he was unsure what his spirit still was, he was certain that Harmony was the true spirit of Flora, the natural world's plant life. As if the realization sunk in to Harmony, she felt her insides start to burn slightly. The Celebeevee found herself unable to move, standing stock still, and glowing a bright white, forcing Cadmus to close his eyes. In a flash of light, Harmony found herself in a taller, sleeker body, with her ruff and tail having fused into one, flowing piece of fur that drifted almost weightlessly behind her. It dawned on her that the epiphany had caused her to evolve, and deep in her heart in this form, she could feel the spirit of Flora calling to all of the plant life around her. She thanked Cadmus profusely, telling him that she had a purpose now and she felt whole. Upon her leaving, a small flower grew into the floor of the hut where she once stood.

Harmony still works at the gardens with Sapphire and Hibiscus, but now she also spends a lot of time sitting in a clearing deep in the woods and taking care of protecting the forest in the only way she knew how- meditating.
